On the Table 2019

On the Table is a civic engagement initiative, organized by the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, where thousands of diverse residents from all walks of life and socio-economic backgrounds gather to share a meal and discuss meaningful ideas to strengthen our community. It’s an opportunity to shape our region into a strong, vibrant, safe and dynamic place to live and work.

WHEN: On the Table will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Registration will open in summer 2019.

WHY: The Community Foundation’s mission is to build strong, vibrant communities. Bringing people together to collaborate through an initiative like On the Table can create solutions to address our community’s most pressing issues and shape our region into a strong, vibrant, safe and dynamic place to live and work.

WHO: All Palm Beach or Martin residents are invited to participate – by hosting or attending mealtime conversations.

WHERE: In private residences, in backyards, at local restaurants, schools, community centers, places of worship, libraries, offices, retail establishments – literally anywhere a host chooses. They can be sit-down, catered, picnic, or potluck dinners – entirely up to each host.
