ArtSmart exists to create transformative experiences for young individuals, providing them with opportunities, mentorship, and a supportive community through music education. By doing so, ArtSmart aims to empower youth, enhance their well-being, and provide them with a pathway to academic, economic, and emotional stability.
The Six Tenets of ArtSmart:
Access to Education
- ArtSmart recognizes that education is a crucial factor in breaking the cycle of poverty and providing opportunities for a better future. By offering tuition-free music lessons, ArtSmart ensures that youth in under-resourced communities have access to high-quality arts education that they might otherwise be unable to afford.
Empowerment and Personal Growth
- Music mentorship provided by professional artists empowers youth by developing their artistic talents, boosting their self-confidence, and fostering their personal growth. Through music, young individuals can explore their creativity, express themselves, and develop valuable skills such as discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
Emotional and Mental Well-being
