About the Fund
At Path to College, we envision a world where genius, leadership, and excellence are cultivated in the most overlooked students in our community. We fearlessly clear the path for overlooked students to get into the best colleges with the best scholarships. Our free to students program provides after school college preparation, tutoring, and project-based learning.
Lack of college preparation for high potential, low income students is a community need. In Palm Beach County Title One high schools, the ratio of students to academic counselors is 500:1. There is simply no time to advise and prepare students for college. Every student should have the opportunity to escape generational poverty through higher education. Sadly, for low-income students, that journey is much more challenging than it is for their peers.
We believe that, even more valuable than Florida’s natural resources and industry are our striving and determined young students.
