Impact & Initiatives
Amplifying Impact with the Foundation
Our mission is to partner with our donors and serve as the leading catalyst for building vibrant communities through meaningful philanthropy.
There are many ways to amplify impact with the Foundation and pool resources for maximum change.
We have several current opportunities for collaboration. Here are a few below, or contact Lisa Loomis to hear more!
The Community Foundation’s Environmental Fund
Through the Community Foundation’s Environmental Fund, we are supporting Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s new Oceans of Opportunity program.
This program will increase programming for:
- Title 1 PBC school children
- Children in low-income early learning programs
- Students with learning and attention challenges
- Children in foster care
Join us in our efforts to create access for all at one of Florida’s most unique nonprofit cultural destinations.
The Second Chance Initiative
The Second Chance Initiative hopes to secure $10,000 for digital and e-commerce program training for people transitioning out of homelessness program. Second Chance works in partnership with the Lord’s Place in Lake Worth and will serve participants from Burckle Place. This is an innovative opportunity for those interested in transitional employment, second chances, social innovation, homelessness and so much more!
History & Art Partnership
Are you interested in art, history, storytelling or connecting the eastern and western parts of Palm Beach County? Renowned artist Sofia Valiente, in partnership with the Arts & Entertainment District of West Palm Beach and The Downtown Development Authority would like to install a replica 1920’s freight boat in the Stub Canal Basin to highlight the connection of the Glades and West Palm Beach.
Childhood Care, Support & Learning
