Gala chair Carrie Murray and her husband J.B. Murray opened their Palm Beach apartment to celebrate the chairpersons, host committee and sponsors of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties’ ‘Keeping It Local’ Gala. The gala will be held at The Breakers on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 7 p.m. Guests will be dressed in their most ‘cocktail island chic’ attire and enjoy dinner, dancing and a silent auction of a piece by world-renown environmental artist Chris Leidy, grandson of Lily Pulitzer Rousseau. Entertainment will be provided by band Party On the Moon.
Grand honorary chairs for the Community Foundation Gala are Lore M. Dodge and David G. Ober. Honorary chairs include Christina Macfarland, Frances Peter and Caroline Rafferty. Co-chairs are Kathleen B. Emmett, Karyn G. Lamb, Missy Savage and Carrie Murray.
The Community Foundation’s ‘Keeping It Local’ Gala theme offers an evening evocative of beautiful south Florida waterways, flora and fauna. ‘Keeping It Local’ celebrates the local environment, one of the Community Foundation’s charitable focus areas.
Tickets are $650 per person and $350 for junior tickets (age 40 and under).
