The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is the community leader in philanthropy. Its new three-year strategic plan calls for continued development in donor relations, marketing and community leadership. This year has already seen the hiring of new personnel and evolved staff positions for well-deserved internal upward movement.
The Community Foundation has appointed Chris Snyder as charitable giving officer. As charitable giving officer, Snyder is responsible for donor development and securing funds for the organization. He is also the lead for the organization’s growing nonprofit funds. Snyder brings more than a decade of sales and business development experience to the Foundation. He most recently worked for the American Cancer Society as the director of estate and gift planning.
Kati Erickson has been promoted from her previous position as development manager to donor relations officer. As donor relations officer, Erickson is a trusted resource for all Community Foundation fundholders. She works closely with fundholders, donors and business partners to develop customized charitable plans and co-investing opportunities. Erickson has been with the Foundation four years.
The Community Foundation promotes Corrie Keller to senior director of marketing and communications. As senior director, Keller is responsible for developing initiatives and creative strategies to meet the Foundation’s organizational objectives. Her decade of communication experience includes brands like Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, Jupiter Medical Center and the South Florida PGA. She joined the Foundation three years ago.
Founded in 1972, the Foundation manages an endowment of $160 million and has been serving the region for 45 years. Together with its donors, the Foundation makes grants, awards scholarships and makes continual effort to improve the lives and opportunities of its residents – both now and in the future.
