The Community Foundation’s Vice President for Development, Sheila Kinman, CAP©, has been elected to the Community Foundations National Standards Board (CFNSB), a supporting organization of the Council on Foundations.
The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties’ vice president for development, Sheila Kinman, CAP©, has been elected to the Community Foundations National Standards Board (CFNSB), a supporting organization of the Council on Foundations.
The CFNSB is a collegial group of professionals from across the U.S. seeking to advance the community foundation field through governing a robust national accreditation program, the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations®, and public policies that enhance a community of philanthropy nationwide.
The CFNSB ensures that National Standards remains relevant amid changing policies, procedures and regulations, and coordinates developments in the compliance process. Its members represent practitioners and thought leaders in the community foundation field and serve three-year terms. For a list of the complete CFNSB board members, please click here.
As Vice President for Development at the Community Foundation, Kinman is responsible for connecting Foundation donors to philanthropic causes they care about, facilitating legacy and planned gifts and establishing charitable funds that impact our local community and nation. She works closely with the Foundation’s programming team to join together donors who are interested in co-investing to local charities for greater leveraged impact. She earned her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation in 2013.
