Over the last four years, The Community Foundation has built its current scholarships up to 360 individual recipients.

The story of every student is different. However, the financial challenge in affording college is still apparent for so many students. The Community Foundation, in partnership with the generous support of its fundholders and donors, is providing sufficient scholarship assistance to help bridge the financial gap. Scholarships enable more significant success in college, providing backing for hardworking, deserving individuals.
Over the last four years, The Community Foundation has built its current scholarships up to 360 individual recipients. Last fiscal year, we added 88 new recipients, and this year (July 1, 2020, to June 31, 2021), we hope to grow that number. Your clients are critical to this growth.
The pandemic has not slowed students' desire to learn. More than 60% of our recipients will be participating in a hybrid school setting (part online, part in-person). About 17% of our recipients will be learning entirely in-person, 10% will be attending classes virtually, and the remainder are still deciding on their next steps. These young minds are eager to push forward. If your clients want to learn more about starting a scholarship fund or adding to their current fund, please reach out to Abby Axelrod-Wunderman aaxelrod-wunderman@cfpbmc.org or 561.340.4512. We need continued support to help accommodate these students' aspirations.
