Grants & Scholarships
Organization: Education Foundation of Martin County
The Education Foundation of Martin County (EFMC) and OneBlood have partnered to provide an extraordinary service to the Martin County community. By hosting blood drives at local public schools, this partnership is ensuring adequate blood supply for Martin County patients in need, providing a community service opportunity for high school students, and rewarding students who take a leadership role in these activities with scholarship dollars. It’s a win-win! Over the years, thousands of dollars in scholarships to select senior students have been awarded for their outstanding leadership in the coordination and implementation of the high school blood drives. Scholarship specific application is on the EFMC website and has been provided to the school guidance departments. Applications must be signed off (initialed) by Gift of Life faculty program sponsor before being submitted to guidance department. Students with questions should contact their high school guidance department or Lisa Rhodes at LRhodes@EducationFoundationMC.org.
