Community Foundation Involvement
Mr. Hudson’s roles and accomplishments specific to the Foundation so far currently include serving as board Treasurer, a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Career Prospectus

Mr. Hudson has been a director of Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida since 1984 and serves as chairman of the bank’s directors’ credit risk committee and a member of the company’s corporate development committee. He served as the executive chairman of Seacoast Bank in 2021 after serving as chairman since 2005 and CEO from 1998 to 2021. Mr. Hudson also served as chairman and CEO of the bank from 1992 to 2021, after serving in various positions with the company and the bank since 1978. He also serves on the board of directors and the audit and compensation committees of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation. a public gas and electric utilities company headquartered in Dover, Delaware. Previously, Mr. Hudson was an independent director of PENN Capital Funds, a mutual fund group managed by PENN Capital Management.

Mr. Hudson is a graduate of Florida State University with dual degrees in finance and accounting and a master’s degree in business administration.

Community and Philanthropic Highlights
