
Linda Roman
Why I Joined The Community Foundation
Linda collaborates with community agencies and initiatives to increase access and build better futures for Palm Beach and Martin County residents through the Foundation. She conducts her professional life with the same personal dedication she has to her community. Linda has served as co-chair for Healthier Lake Worth Beach, as a mentor for Children’s Home Society, and as a reviewer for numerous grantmaking agencies.
Linda served as Childhood Hunger Initiatives Manager at the Palm Beach County Food Bank and Vice President at 211 Palm Beach-Treasure Coast. She also served as Senior Director of Community Impact at United Way of Palm Beach County, where she worked for nine years. Linda holds a master’s in community and economic development from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Urban Planning and a bachelor’s in journalism from Wayne State University.
