Why I Joined The Community Foundation
Stacey brings over 35 years of finance and leadership expertise in non-profit and higher education settings. With a bachelor’s from the University of Florida in accounting and a Master of Accounting from Florida International University, Stacey leveraged her academic talents to rise rapidly through the ranks of several organizations before accepting her recent role as our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) where she oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
After graduation, Stacey served 10 years at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, where she rose from Coordinator to Controller, responsible for all finance and budget functions. In 2004 she was hired by Florida Atlantic University (FAU) as Assistant Vice President and University Controller. She was promoted to Associate Vice President for Finance, Planning, and Analysis in 2014 and the FAU Foundation’s (FAUF) CFO in 2021.
