Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to questions that we frequently receive from potential scholarship applicants.

Can I apply if I'm currently in college or an adult returning to school?

Yes! While the majority of our scholarships are high school students entering college, we do have opportunities for undergraduates and adult learners. We suggest completing our Common Application to be considered for those funds.

What happens when I submit my application?

Your application will enter the review process. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and reviews continue throughout the Spring. We will not provide students with status updates or decisions until all applications have been reviewed. You may be asked to participate in an in-person interview. Interview invitations are NOT an indication of whether you will be awarded a scholarship

Can I apply to be considered for a specific scholarship fund?

Yes, however, please complete the Common Application first. This will help us find all the possible funds you may qualify for. If we need more information from you, we will ask you to submit an additional brief application.

I ONLY completed/submitted an application for a specific scholarship fund, do I have to complete/submit the Common App to be considered for other awards?

Yes, but the information you entered in the specific application will transfer over to the Common Application. This will make the Common Application a breeze!

When will I know if I am awarded a scholarship?

Our goal is to help students and their families in their final school decision making process so we will announce award recipients in Early to Mid April. This is done to get notices out before May 1st as that is the deadline most colleges set for enrollment decisions.
