Employing Strategies for Stronger Communities
A community is only as strong as its opportunities. Without successful employment, independence and stability can remain out of reach for individuals and families. That means economic opportunity depends on equitable education, job training and workforce development to equip working adults to attain greater prosperity and quality of life.
It’s one thing to ensure our residents have access to the same opportunities for success in life. It’s another to make sure they are ready to grasp the opportunities they are given. We fund projects that prepare people to take their place in a strong workforce, run stable households and contribute to a vital local economy.
Whether taking new approaches in career training or innovating ideas in jobs and workforce development, the Community Foundation believes in opening the doors of prosperity knowing everyone is capable of walking through.
