About the Fund

Gale Academic Leadership Endowment Fund (est. 2003)

The Gale Academy of Environmental Science and Technology is a Choice Program at Forest Hill Community High School, now an International Baccalaureate (IB) World school. The Academy offers a hands-on approach to environmental science education that provides students with a strong platform of knowledge and skills to achieve their career goals. This fund was established by The Friends of Gale Academy. The Friends were incorporated in 1997 and since then, have supported the Academy through funding of field trips, equipment, providing mentors and speakers, science-fair judges and scholarships.
