About the Fund
The Jordan L. Kronen Charitable Fund has been established in loving memory of our son. Jordan was a remarkable young man who absolutely loved life. He was born on June 7, 2001 in Boca Raton, Florida. Wherever Jordan went, he lit up the room with his warm smile and his kind heart, always making sure that everyone was included. From the time he was a young child to just beginning his life as an adult, Jordan brought people together.
At a very young age Jordan began to love sports and especially took an interest in basketball, a game he played throughout his life. When Jordan entered high school, he continued his interest in sports and began coaching youth basketball. At the same time, Jordan became very active in the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization. He served as President of his chapter and went on to win an award for recruiting new members in South Florida, where he was also elected to the regional board. Jordan was a natural born leader, always fun to be around with the most enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
Upon entering college at the University of Central Florida, Jordan pursued a major in Political Science. In the fall of 2021, he was set to begin his junior year and had been approved for a minor in Legal Studies. He was looking forward to preparing for a future as an attorney. As one of the founding members of the Knights Pre-Law Association at UCF, Jordan was instrumental in forming the law club and was to serve as its first Vice President. While at UCF, Jordan also continued his passion for sports, where he loved playing intramural football and basketball as well as working as a referee for the University’s intramural sports program.
Most importantly, Jordan loved his family and friends and always surrounded himself with the people who loved him most. Whether it was spending time camping, going to the beach, attending sporting events or just hanging out, Jordan was his happiest during these times.
Jordan touched so many lives in his 20-years. In cooperation with the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, the Jordan L. Kronen Charitable Fund has been established to locate and support deserving causes in which Jordan was passionate about and that share his enjoyment of life and compassion toward others. We are looking forward to working together throughout each year to find these causes and provide support to those in need. It is our hope that the fund will continue to honor Jordan’s memory and legacy for many years to come.
