About the Fund
Quantum House Endowment Fund (est. 2017)
Quantum House lets families be as close as possible to their child during a medical crisis. The House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition. It’s the only organization serving families this way between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando for more than 15 years.
The House opened its doors in 2001 as a haven with 10 bedrooms on the campus of a major medical center. Now with 30 guest suites, the House serves 1,000 family members every year. Families can focus all their energy on their children who need them.
The House relieves stress and financial strain by fulfilling basic needs and providing critical human services, including lodging, meals and a host of services.
Families come from across the street, from neighboring counties and around the world to receive the very best medical treatment. All of these families should not only have the option to seek the best care for their child but also the opportunity to have a supportive environment. You make sure they feel at home.
