Career Prospectus

Timothy D. Burke is an executive media consultant. Most recently he served as the Senior Vice President and Group Publisher for LRP Media Group, an innovative media giant serving millions of human resources professionals, federal agencies, and K-12 educators worldwide. At LRP, Mr. Burke oversaw the world’s largest annual event for HR technology and LRP’s digital media products focused on key HR and workplace issues for Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Burke was publisher and CEO of The Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News and group publisher for Gatehouse (Gannett) Media. Mr. Burke was the multi-market vice president for Cox Enterprises’ newspapers in Atlanta; Austin, Texas; and Dayton, Ohio; and an editor at newspapers in Miami, Dallas, and Springfield, Missouri.

Mr. Burke received his bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
