The Community Foundation is the recipient of two Palm Awards and two Awards of Quality for excellence in public relations from the 2017 PRSA Palm Awards Luncheon.
The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is the recipient of two Palm Awards and two Awards of Quality for excellence in public relations from the 2017 PRSA Palm Awards Luncheon. Each year, this program recognizes public, private and nonprofit organizations across the county for effective communications efforts. Senior director Corrie Keller was also awarded the 2017 Rising Young Professional Award.
The Community Foundation’s winning projects include:

“We take pride in our communications projects at the Community Foundation,” said Brad Hurlburt, president and CEO. “Our team works hard with a dedicated and talented team of designers, editors and photographers to share stories of our donors and nonprofits in a compelling and visual way.”
In addition, Corrie Keller received the 2017 Rising Young Professional Award. Keller is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the Community Foundation.
“As far as her Rising Young Professional Award, Corrie is a dynamic professional in our industry and has elevated both the Foundation’s and our nonprofits voice in our local community. She spends much of her time mentoring and teaching others, and we are grateful to have her on our team,” said Hurlburt.
The Palm Awards, hosted each year by the Public Relations Society of America’s Palm Beach Chapter (PRSA). These awards represent the best public relations programs and products as judged by peers. The Palm Awards competition consists of three award categories: Program Awards, Product Awards and Individual Awards. The awards highlight PR campaigns that demonstrate excellence in research, planning, implementation and evaluation. Leading campaign strategies and tactics are also recognized. Palm Awards are judged by local, accredited public relations professionals.
