As hurricane season continues to affect lives and livelihoods, we are committed to helping our fellow Floridians overcome the after-effects of the storms.
As we have done with past disasters affecting Florida, we welcome donations to our Disaster Relief Fund. Gifts to this fund will be earmarked for Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene relief, and distributed to help communities affected in Palm Beach and Martin Counties as well as the hardest-hit areas throughout our state.
“These storms are major catastrophes, and we are grateful to our community of donors here in Palm Beach and Martin Counties who have a history of standing at the ready to help when disaster strikes our state,” said Danita R. DeHaney. “As the leader of philanthropy here locally, the Community Foundation’s relationships with the nonprofits we serve — many of which are the boots on the ground during disasters — are critical to ensuring our ability to support the local community in times of need.”
