The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is thrilled to announce an exciting new project for our community: the development of the African American Museum and Research Library (AAMRL) at the historic Roosevelt High School site in West Palm Beach. Project AAMRL will celebrate and preserve the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans in our region and beyond, serving as a source of pride, education, and cultural enrichment for all.
To ensure that this project truly reflects the voices and experiences of our community, we invite you to attend the stakeholder kick-off session. Here, we will discuss the process for gathering community input and insights on the museum’s vision and development over the next several months.
