Community Foundation Involvement

Mr. Bracci’s roles and accomplishments specific to the Foundation so far include serving as the current Chair of the Investment Committee, Past Treasurer of the Board, Past Chair of the Finance Committee, and a member of the Executive and Finance Committees.

Career Prospectus

Michael J. Bracci is an executive vice president of the Northern Trust Company, where he has worked since 1993. He currently serves as the East Florida Region president, leading in all aspects of its wealth management business, including investment management, trust, fiduciary management, financial planning, and private banking. Before that, he served as the regional senior banking officer for the Palm Beach and Martin County region and as managing director of the North Palm Beach office. With over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, Mr. Bracci started his career in the management training program at a large Southeast regional commercial bank, then led a regional commercial banking team and held various other management positions. The 2011 Palm Beach Atlantic University Free Enterprise Day Medalist, he is married with two children. A resident of Tequesta, he enjoys boating, paddle boarding, running, and coaching youth athletics.

Mr. Bracci received a bachelor’s in economics from Tulane University in 1987.

Community and Philanthropic Highlights

He is the current chair of the CEO search committee for the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, immediate past chair of the board of trustees (2017-2019), past chair of the corporate partners and governance/nominating committees, and a 14-year member of the audit committee
Mr. Bracci serves on the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation board and has chaired the executive committee since 2005.
He was treasurer and chair of the governance committee at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach (2011-2017); treasurer, governance chair, and president of the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County (2004-2016); past president (2002-2004) and board member of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County (1995-2006), and board member of the year in 2005; and a past-chair (2010-2012) and former member of the board of trustees of Town of Palm Beach United Way (1988-2014)
