- Birthmothers that have placed their child for adoption
- Preference for a birthmother who is a resident of Florida or has placed the child/children with adoptive parents in Florida
- Demonstrates financial need
- To be used for post high school continuing education, vocational, college or university. School must be accredited, non-profit, and in the United States
- Scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board, books and other education-related expenses
- Recipient must maintain a GPA of 2.0 at the institution where the scholarship is being used
