About the Fund
The Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts is a 3-dimensional fine art fabrication facility located in a blocklong, Historic FEC Train Depot building in the heart of Lake Worth Beach.
We have the largest Glassblowing Hot Shop that is open to the public in the State of Florida. Beside our high-functioning hot shop, we also have a large Fusing and Flameworking Department, a Glass Casting Department, a Welding Department and a Fine Art Glass Gallery and Gift Shop.
We enrich the community by bringing in Internationally renowned artists from all over the world to perform for the citizens of Palm Beach County. We also bring in a minimum of 1,000 children and teens each year to experience the excitement of creating glass art free of charge. Arranged tours with glassblowing demonstrations are available to our seniors. We offer a wide range of classes and workshops for all different skill levels and ages. And for the professional artists in our community we offer reasonable rental fees.
Our Mission is to provide a world-class fabrication center where professional artists in our community can realize their full creative potential. To connect these working artists with both children and adults to educate and inspire a much deeper understanding and appreciation of art and the creative process behind it.
