The Boathouse Fund

The North Palm Beach Rowing Club’s (NPBRC) mission is to change lives through rowing. We do this by delivering high-quality rowing programs that engage young and old, experienced and novice athletes, and people from all walks of life and socio-economic backgrounds in a team-focused sport that expands access to our area’s beautiful waterways.

NPBRC’s Capital Campaign to build a world-class rowing center in northern Palm Beach County is underway, and we need your help to bring this vision to fruition. This rowing center will support NPBRC’s thriving youth and adult athletic programs and allow us to expand programs and services to a broader range of citizens. Your investment will support an organization with a proven track record of delivering rowing programs that teach life skills to kids and promote physical fitness to all ages and abilities, with a special emphasis on youth development and outreach to economically disadvantaged groups, disabled athletes, and wounded veterans. “The Boathouse” will become the centerpiece of Bert Winters Park and will allow NPBRC to expand programs and services to a broader range of citizens.

A vibrant addition to our community

Incorporating thoughtful and efficient design, the Boathouse will host training for NPBRC’s top-tier, championship youth and adult programs while also promoting health, teamwork and physical wellness and excellence to a broad cross section of the Palm Beach community through public outreach. NPBRC, as the operator of this site, has also teamed with other charitable water sports organizations to bring dragon-boating and kayak programs to cancer survivors and disabled athletes. The rowing center will encompass 14,000-sf that will serve as a base for year-round operations and will include indoor training rooms, locker rooms, boat storage and recovery areas, trailer parking, and access to the water via a soft launch beach area. Large, spacious indoor training areas can be configured for a range of uses, allowing this facility to welcome visiting programs or community events. Bert Winters Park provides excellent access to the Intracoastal Waterway in a designated “slow speed/no wake” protected zone.

Donate to the North Palm Beach Rowing Club’s Boathouse Fund and help us make this boathouse a reality. 100% of all donations will go directly to the design, construction, and operation of the boathouse and will leave a lasting legacy in our community
