About the Fund
When 18-year-old Nicholas Megrath was killed just a few weeks before his high school graduation, a promising young life was cut short. Nicholas was an honor student at Forest Hill Community High School. He was due to receive an award as the top senior trigonometry student, and had been accepted at Palm Beach Atlantic College. He wanted to be a teacher. Shortly after his death, friends and family members decided to memorialize Nicholas with an endowed scholarship fund.
“I feel today that God has called him, because he was so close to his faith.”

CARLOS ROSELLO

“This scholarship honors Nick a great deal. It will allow other students to go on and achieve the dream the couldn’t achieve. It’s very touching to me.”
NANCY WIDELL-ROUSSEAU
Mother of Nicholas Megrath
Why must we seek new heights?
Why must we gain new ground?
Why do we have to push forward?
Why can’t we just stick around?
