- Graduating high school minority senior from Palm Beach or Martin County
- Students graduating from Atlantic, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Olympic Heights, Spanish River, and West Boca High School are not eligible to apply for this scholarship through the Community Foundation but may apply through the Sunburst Foundation by contacting their school guidance counselors for application information.
- Must declare a major in engineering, computer science, chemistry, physics, biology, botany, mathematics, oceanography, geology, pre-dental, pre-medical, pre-veterinary, nursing, astronomy, ecological sciences, pharmacy or zoological sciences.
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA while in college.
- Demonstrate financial need.
