YWCA of Palm Beach County Endowment Fund (est. 2017)
The agency operates two child development centers in West Palm Beach and Royal Palm Beach; the Mary Rubloff YWCA Harmony House, a 72 bed shelter for battered women and their abused children; a Rapid Re-housing program for domestic violence victims that helps with a deposit and several month rent enabling the women to get re-adjusted in the community; an anti-violence educational program for school aged children; an outreach and supportive counseling and legal advocacy for victims of domestic violence; Y-Teens at Pahokee and Glades Central High Schools; Y-Girls at Pioneer Park Elementary School; and racial justice initiatives including the annual “Stand Against Racism ” Day activities.
