Lisa was an honor student who graduated third in her class from Jupiter High School and who planned to pursue a career in communications and journalism with a minor in law at the University of Miami. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Jupiter High School band, color guard and involved in many other school activities. She was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" in her senior year by her fellow classmates. Lisa was killed instantly by a drunk driver just one week after her 18th birthday.

- Graduating high school senior from Jupiter High School or any Palm Beach County public high school
- Student plans to pursue a career in journalism and communications
- Must submit an essay on "The Importance of the Family" (500-750 words)
- Maximum award $1,000 per student, one-time award
